Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno

Please note that we have had to make a change in artists for our March 15th, 7:30 p.m. concert.  Because of the Moscow Embassy’s denial of visas for half of Lezginka’s dancers, this troupe’s entire U.S. tour has been canceled and they cannot perform this season.  After much panic and numerous phone calls and emails with our agent, your executive Board has secured a much-lauded dance group, the Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno, who are very excited to perform for us.  We hope you will come prepared to enjoy a terrific concert and thank you for your understanding!

Thursday, March 15, 2018 7:30 p.m

Drawing on the artistic variety of Mexico’s different regions, the Ballet Folklorico Mexicano has a dance repertory of 120 pieces. Many of these are presented in their traditional form while others have been restaged to include artistic elements from more contemporary choreography
